Vaccine Protect
View Eligible Patients to Contact for Vaccination Booking
For PID Eclipse is accessed via https://secure.nhspathways.org when using HSCN/N3.
For non-PID Eclipse is accessed via www.nhspathways.org
1. Navigate to https://secure.nhspathways.org/ (this will require a secure HSCN/N3 network)
2. Enter your username and password
You will have received your username via an email from the Eclipse support help desk
3. Select Sign In
4. Request your passcode via Email or SMS*
*By default the code will be sent to you NHS email, unless a phone number was provided at the later stage. You can also update your information within the system.
5. Check your Email (or Phone) for a 6-digit passcode.
6. Enter the passcode.
7. Select Enter Site.
8. Select Vaccine Protect
9. Enter a Vaccine pathway by selecting “View”.
Flu Protect
10a. In Flu Protect, click “Priority Patients”.
10b. The “Priority Patients” chart breaks the cohort population down into subcategories of patients based on certain criteria. Click “View” to open a list of all patients eligible for a vaccine within this subcategory.
Shingles Protect
10a. In Shingles Protect, click “Priority Patients”.
10b. Click “View” to open a list of all patients eligible for a Shingles vaccine.
COVID Vaccination
10. In COVID Vaccination, click “Patients”. This will open a list of all patients eligible to receive a COVID vaccination.
11. Click on the magnifying glass to view the medical details of each patient. Depending on the selected vaccination pathway, it may be helpful to sort the patient table by Last Flu Vaccination by clicking the header.
12. Once a patient has been contacted and booked in for a clinic, you can update their record accordingly by coding them to reflect a completed or declined vaccination.
