Quicksilva Toolbar – Read/Write Functionality
Norfolk & Wavey ICB
Practice Pro-Forma
Background
As part of Norfolk & Norwich ICB’s digital transformation programme, we are rolling out the Quicksilva ConneQt Toolbar across practices in the region.
The toolbar works alongside EMIS and TPP clinical systems and provides secure integration between local patient records and external platforms such as Eclipse Live.
Once installed and configured, the toolbar will enable:
Read access – viewing the Eclipse Patient Summary profile through the toolbar, alongside the patient’s record on Emis and SystmOne.
Write-back functionality – structured data captured via Eclipse (e.g. questionnaires, SMRs) can be written back directly into the patient record in EMIS/TPP.
Full control: Clinicians will retain full control and can review, accept, or reject updates written back to the patient’s record.
Security and compliance – the toolbar is designed for NHS environments and meets strict information governance and security requirements.
Additional functionality provided by Quicksilva: Access to Child-Protection Information Sharing details through the ConneQt toolbar.
The toolbar is intended to reduce duplication of data entry, improve record accuracy, and support more efficient workflows within GP practices.
